A weekend retreat with Maggie O'Shea and Nik Welsh
The retreat will include lots of silent mindfulness meditation & yoga practice, non-structured time for relaxing in front of the log fires, and long walks in the beautiful bush surrounds. You will also have the opportunity to connect with others and make this a 3-day retreat, by checking in early and enjoying a massage, walk, or the amazing Turkish Steam Hamman experience in a small group.
The retreat will take place in the beautifully refurbished 1020s Continental Guesthouse, perched high in the bushland of Hepburn Springs, and just across the road from the Goldfields Walking Trail. The retreat will mostly be silent, but with some times for connecting & sharing with other participants, including the Friday night meal on arrival. Guidance will be provided by Nik & Maggie as we practice mindfulness in movement, yoga and stillness.
All food – delicious & nutritious vegetarian meals – will be prepared by a local caterer specialising in slow food. There will also be time to visit the Springs, walk in the bush, enjoy a massage, or simply rest.
The retreat will officially commence around 6pm with dinner on the Friday, but participants are invited to make the most of the opportunity to check in & enjoy a bush walk, a massage on site, or the Turkish Steam Hamman experience. We will finish by 3pm Sunday.
